Care Instructions

Our sola wood flowers are a beautiful fresh flower alternative, each flower being handmade from a natural woodsy shrub root, hand dyed or painted, and finally softened to a beautiful and touchable all-natural bloom.

A note about sola wood flowers, is that they can be sprayed with a chemical sealant, and this would be necessary if you were to place your flowers outside or leave them in the sun for extended periods of time (days). We do not recommend placing our arrangements outside, and we don’t like spraying with sealant unnecessarily so we do not seal any of our wooden flowers. If you do wish to seal them, you can apply spray sealant that you pick up from a local craft or hardware store that is meant for wooden products and it will help protect the flowers from any harsh elements that they are exposed to.

Wooden flowers will last for years, even a lifetime, with very little maintenance required. Most of our wooden flowers are paired with either dried or preserved florals, which allows your entire arrangement to be a timeless and naturally beautiful solution for your wedding day.

The average lifespan of our floral designs with he dried and preserved florals can of course be impacted by environmental circumstances, so we have included some simple care instructions below to help keep your flowers beautiful and in their best shape. Since we do use dried and preserved real florals in our designs, some occasional shedding or crumbling of the floral stem is completely normal and to be expected. Some dried florals will fade some overtime, but you can reduce this natural occurrence by following the care tips below.

For Assembled Florals:

DO:

Remove your flowers from their shipping box and store them upright

Store accessory items as they come; they can be left in their display boxes

Store your arrangements either in, or out, of the paper bouquet wrap that they come wrapped in

Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and heat

Keep your flowers away from moisture - try to avoid storing them in highly humid environments

Keep your flowers in a quiet place - away from little hands and fur baby paws

Feel free to re-package your flowers in the original shipping box for a short time should you need to travel with them Leave some breathing room around your flowers during travel - don't over-stuff the box!

Contact us if anything is less than 5 out of 5 star perfection, so that we can take care of you and provide you the confidence that you deserve

DON'T:

Do not leave your arrangements in a hot car, this can damage preserved greenery

Do not leave them lying on their side ~ especially your bridal!

Do not place any products from Evergreen Bride in water :)

Do not worry if your flowers get damp on your wedding day from rain drops ~ just make sure they are left out of their packaging to dry back out over night, and your flowers will remain perfect!

For DIY Kits:

You can leave your DIY florals in the packaging they arrive in (just take everything out of the external shipping box). Since the filler is separated from the flowers and everything is in its own package with silica gel packets, everything should store safe and sound.

As always, with your DIY florals:

- Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and heat

- Keep your flowers away from moisture - try to avoid storing them in highly humid environments

- Keep your flowers in a quiet place - away from little hands and fur baby paws

Do not leave your arrangements in a hot car, this can damage preserved greenery

Do not place any products from Evergreen Bride in water :)
